A social media app for your Mac
Most social media tools live in a browser tab. Loudwell is an app you download. It plans your posts, writes them in your voice and lines them up for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. You approve each one from your iPhone.
What it does on your Mac
- Asks a few quick questions and sets your strategy and voice.
- Plans your week against that strategy.
- Picks the best photos and clips from your gallery.
- Writes each caption in your voice.
- Makes AI pictures or video only for what's missing, if you add a Gemini key.
Why a Mac app
- Your photos, posts and contacts stay on your Mac, not on our servers.
- Loudwell never asks for your social logins.
- Your AI key stays in your Mac's Keychain.
What you need
- A Mac with Apple silicon, M1 or later. Intel Macs aren't supported.
- The free iPhone app, which is how you approve and post.
- An AI key from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, usually £2 to £4 a month.
What it isn't
It isn't a video editor. Your footage goes out as you made it, with a few optional quick fixes such as crop and mute. It doesn't cover Facebook, Threads or Pinterest. If you need those, or you're on Windows, a web tool like Buffer or Later will suit you better.
Questions
Does Loudwell post for me?
YouTube Shorts can post themselves if you switch that on. For TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and X, your iPhone reminds you, copies the caption, saves the media and opens the app, so you post in one tap.
Is there a Windows or web version?
Not yet. Loudwell runs on Macs with Apple silicon, with a free iPhone app that pairs with the Mac.
How much is it?
Solo is £4.99 a month for up to 2 brands. Studio is £9.99 a month for up to 10. Both have 7 days free with no card. Your AI provider bills you separately, usually £2 to £4 a month.
Do I need an iPhone?
Yes, for approving and posting. The iPhone app is free and pairs with the Mac app.
Try it on your own brand
