Loudwell vs Buffer

Buffer is a scheduler: you bring the post, it publishes it. Loudwell plans your week and turns your own photos and videos into posts in your voice, and you approve each one. It also does sales and press. If you already know what to post, Buffer may be all you need.

What five channels cost

On Buffer Essentials, five channels cost $25 a month, billed yearly. On Loudwell, five channels on up to 2 brands cost £4.99 a month, plus what your AI provider charges you, usually £2 to £4. Buffer's price rises with each channel. Loudwell's doesn't.

Questions

Is Loudwell a free alternative to Buffer?

No. Loudwell has 7 days free with no card, then costs £4.99 a month. Buffer has a free plan for up to 3 channels and 10 scheduled posts on each.

Does Loudwell post automatically like Buffer?

Only YouTube Shorts, if you switch it on. For TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and X, your iPhone reminds you, copies the caption, saves the media and opens the app, so you post in one tap. Loudwell never asks for your social logins.

Can I use Loudwell and Buffer together?

You could, but you'd rarely need to on the five networks Loudwell covers.

Does Loudwell work on Windows or in a browser?

Not yet. Loudwell runs on Macs with Apple silicon, with a free iPhone app that pairs with the Mac.
