A week of posts for a lash technician

Seven posts for a lash technician, one a day, with the photo to take, the caption and why it works. Copy them as they are, or let Loudwell write a week like this from your own photos, in your voice.

Your diary fills up from word of mouth, but there are always gaps, and every lash tech in town is posting the same close-ups. A week like this shows your care, your hygiene and your eye, so the right clients choose you.

The week

  1. Monday · Instagram · Photo

Shoot: A finished set, close up, in natural light from the window (client's permission first).

Soft classic set for Laura. She wanted to look like herself, just more awake.

Why it works: A natural-light photo shows what the lashes really look like, and the client's own words set expectations better than any filter.

  2. Tuesday · TikTok · Video

Shoot: Fifteen seconds of your hands isolating and placing a lash, filmed over your shoulder.

One lash at a time. This is why a full set takes two hours.

Why it works: Showing the precision explains your price without you having to defend it.

  3. Wednesday · Instagram · Carousel

Shoot: Three photos: classic, hybrid and volume sets side by side, each labelled.

Not sure which to book? Classic is one extension per lash, volume is a fan of several, hybrid is a mix. Message me a photo and I'll tell you what would suit you.

Why it works: Clients often don't know what to ask for. A simple guide gets saved and turns into consultation messages.

  4. Thursday · Instagram · Photo

Shoot: Your clean station: fresh tweezers, sealed adhesive, a fresh pillow cover.

Fresh cover, cleaned tools, patch test 48 hours before your first set. Every client, every time.

Why it works: Hygiene and patch testing are what nervous first-timers worry about most. Showing your routine answers it.

  5. Friday · TikTok · Video

Shoot: A short aftercare demo: brushing through the lashes with a clean spoolie.

Aftercare in ten seconds. No oil near your eyes, brush them through every morning, and they'll last much longer.

Why it works: Aftercare tips reduce complaints and show you care about the result after the client leaves.

  6. Saturday · Instagram · Reel

Shoot: A gentle before and after, the client opening their eyes (ask first).

Infill day for Priya. Three weeks since her full set.

Why it works: Infills are your regular income, and showing how a set holds up over weeks is the best proof of good work.

  7. Sunday · Instagram · Photo

Shoot: Next week's diary with a couple of gaps circled, or a calm photo of your room.

Two spaces left on Thursday for infills. Book through the link in my bio.

Why it works: A small, specific gap creates gentle urgency without discounting your work.

What to shoot this week

  • Finished sets in natural window light, always with the client's permission.
  • Your hands at work, over your shoulder: never the client's face without asking.
  • Your station, tools and hygiene routine.
  • Infills weeks later, to show how your work lasts.

Questions

What should a lash technician post?

Real sets in natural light, your process and your hygiene routine. First-time clients care most about safety and looking natural, so show both.

Do I need permission to post a client's lashes?

Yes. Ask every time, and ask whether they're happy for their face to show or only their eyes. Never post anyone who hasn't said yes.

Should I use filters on lash photos?

No. Filters make every set look the same and set expectations you can't meet. Window light and a steady phone are enough.

Can Loudwell write a week like this for me?

Yes. Loudwell is a Mac app that plans your week from the photos and clips you already have and writes each caption in your voice. Nothing goes out without your yes on your phone. Solo is £4.99 a month, with 7 days free and no card; your AI provider bills you separately, usually £2 to £4 a month.
